Federal Accounting and Financial Reporting Analyst
Delta Solutions and Technologies, Inc. is seeking to hire a Federal accounting and financial reporting analyst with 2 + years Federal reporting experience. Candidates should have a strong understanding of the U.S. Standard General Ledger (SGL) and be able to apply the SGL in an accounting system software environment. Preference given to candidates with experience applying the SGL to configure, create agency posting models and analyze accounting issues in PeopleSoft®, SAP®, Oracle®, Momentum® or FFS®. Candidates should understand the Federal government budget process including budget formulation, budget execution, and the life-cycle of all fund types. Candidates should understand the relationship between proprietary and budgetary SGL accounts in standard agency transactions and understand a standard federal annual close process. Preference given to candidates familiar with standard Federal forms and with the life cycle from transaction creation to external reporting. Candidates should be familiar with most standard Federal external reports and at a minimum understand the FACTS reports, SF-224 report and Financial Statements. Candidates should have solid written and oral communication skills, be able to multi-task and be able to work with clients at all levels.
Financial Datamart Developer
Delta Solutions and Technologies, Inc is looking for an outstanding professional to support our FinMart Federal financial datamart solutions business practice. This individual will be working in data warehouse environments at various federal agencies developing ETL routines using a variety of tools including Microsoft® SQL Server 2000 Data Transformation Services (DTS), Business Objects Data Integrator, and Informatica® Power Center. Knowledge of relational databases including SQL Server and Oracle® is a must. MUST have at least 2 years experience with financial data warehousing preferably in a Federal government environment. Knowledge of SQL Server DTS, Business Objects® Data Integrator, Informatica® Power Center, Microstrategy® 7.x, Crystal® Enterprise, Hyperion®, Cognos® as well as familiarity with PL/SQL is an added bonus. You will be providing on-site client support in integrating our FinMart solution with our clients' established financial systems. Familiarity with CGI Federal's Momentum®, FFS®, Peoplesoft® Financials, Oracle® Financials, SAP® and government accounting principles is highly desired.
Momentum® Financials Functional Subject Matter Expert

Candidate must possess a strong Federal accounting background and a deep understanding of the Momentum® sub-system modules, including Momentum® Acquisitions. Candidate should be well versed in SQL and be capable of understanding components of the technical architecture. Candidate should also possess basic software lifecycle skills and be willing to work in a dynamic environment where multiple clients are supported. Momentum® Financials Technical Subject Matter Expert

Candidate should be well versed in the Momentum® technical architecture, and understand basic performance tuning, system administration, and debugging. Candidate should also have a good understanding of Oracle®, Weblogic®, Webmethods®, Hyperion® SQR, and Tuxedo®. Candidate should possess a basic understanding of Federal accounting and of the Momentum® sub-system modules, including Momentum® Acquisitions. PeopleSoft® Functional Subject Matter Expert
Delta Solutions is seeking to hire a PeopleSoft® functional resource with 2+ years of PeopleSoft® Enterprise Financials 8.x implementation experience (version 8.8 preferable). Candidates should posses thorough knowledge of one or more of the following modules (GL, AP, PO, AR, BI, AM) including the ability to perform/complete all setup and configuration. Experience with PS Query and nVision® is highly desired. Basic troubleshooting skills using Application Designer are desirable. Candidates should also have knowledge of configuration issues between related modules; deep understanding of major functional areas within the financial business process; a basic understanding of related business processes; experience performing fit / gap analysis of implementation requirements to the baseline product; experience designing modifications to business processes and performing testing; experience using a formal methodology for system development and implementation. Federal accounting knowledge is highly desirable.
PeopleSoft® Technical Subject Matter Expert
Delta Solutions is seeking to hire an experienced professional PeopleSoft® technical consultant to be responsible for technical analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post implementation support for PeopleSoft® projects. Candidates should have 2+ years of full SDLC PeopleSoft® implementation experience (HR, Finance, EPM) with responsibilities including application design (on-line, batch interfaces, reports & data conversion programs), construction and implementation. Federal implementation experience is a plus. Candidates must be able to demonstrate skills/abilities to perform the following activities with limited supervision: Able to complete the analysis, design, development and implementation of PeopleSoft® 8.x; Experience in the design and development of application solutions using PeopleTools® 8.x, PS Integration Tools, PeopleCode®, Application Engine, n-Vision®, PL/SQL and SQR. Additionally, experience with PS application administration and Security, as well as, Federal financial management is highly desired.
Oracle® Financials Functional Subject Matter Expert
Delta Solutions is seeking to hire an Oracle® Financials functional resource with 2+ years of Federal implementation experience. Oracle® Financials 11i experience with multiple modules (Federal Administrator, AP, GL, AR, PO, etc.) is preferred. Candidates should have: Fit/Gap analysis experience; Knowledge of standard business concepts and functions; Solid understanding of complete SDLC methodologies; Ability to work independently; Excellent interpersonal communication skills including the oral and written presentation of ideas; Problem analysis and solving skills - ability to identify root causes of problems and differentiate between perceived and actual problems; Demonstrated experience working in a team environment; and a Solid understanding of complete SDLC methodologies. Federal accounting knowledge is highly desirable.
Oracle® Financials Technical Subject Matter Expert
Delta Solutions is seeking to hire an Oracle® Financials technical application developer / programmer / analyst with 2+ years of Federal implementation experience to provide analysis and support of multiple applications within the Oracle® Applications Suite. Candidate must have: strong Oracle® Forms/Reports experience; strong Oracle® 11i experience in multiple areas, including: Interfacing Procurement Systems, Inventory, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Federal Administrator, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Human Resources; Functional knowledge of the modules, knowledge of Federal business practices; strong PL/SQL experience; as well as, strong analytical and problem solving skills. Prior experience in the Federal sector and knowledge of Federal accounting principles are a plus.
Federal Financial System® (FFS®) Technical Subject Matter Expert
Delta Solutions is seeking to hire a Federal Financial System® (FFS®) technical resource to be responsible for supporting all technical aspects of an FFS implementation. The ideal candidate should have experience in a mainframe OS/390 environment including proficiencies in COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM and SAS. In addition, the candidate should have experience with specific FFS® technical tasks including, but not limited to CORE table configuration, CORE Utilities, Screen Generations, Database Backup/Restore and batch cycle processing. General functional knowledge of all FFS subsystems (AP, AR, GL, Budget etc) is a plus. Candidates should have experience creating and executing queries in SAS and COBOL to support functional analysis; troubleshooting FFS technical issues in a test environment; providing second-tier operational support for the FFS batch cycle; researching data inconsistencies; and providing general technical support to the project team.
